- AOC Centre Secunderabad highlights Agniveer training under Agnipath scheme
The Agniveer Passing Out Parade at the Army Ordnance Corps Centre in Secunderabad marked the completion of Basic and Advance Military Training for the newly inducted Agniveers of batch 06/25. The centre announced that it successfully trained 478 Agniveers who began their military journey on May 1 under the Agnipath Scheme. The ceremony highlighted the rigorous schedule that shaped the recruits into disciplined soldiers ready to join active service.
According to the official note, the Agniveers underwent a 31 week curriculum designed to achieve the national aim set under the scheme. The centre said the Agniveers showed “exceptional dedication, discipline, physical prowess and would result in outstanding warriors in days to come.” The training focused on both physical and mental endurance. Officials said the programme prepared the recruits to meet the expectations of the Army Ordnance Corps. Meanwhile, the centre noted that the structured training helped each Agniveer develop essential skills.

The Passing Out Parade took place at the RU Parade Ground, also called the Drill Square. The event displayed precision, teamwork and the sense of duty the Agniveers gained during their training. The recruits showcased their marching skills in front of the AOC fraternity. They also took an oath and officially joined the ranks of the Army Ordnance Corps. The ceremony reflected the pride and discipline that the corps expects from every new soldier.
Colonel K Shaji, the Officiating Commandant of the AOC Centre, reviewed the parade. Other military officials were also present at the event. The centre described the parade as an important milestone for the new soldiers. It said the successful completion of training represents their readiness to serve with honour and commitment. Therefore, the ceremony stood as a significant moment for the batch as they transitioned from trainees to soldiers.
The Agniveer Passing Out Parade also reaffirmed the importance of the Agnipath Scheme in shaping young recruits for the Army. The officials said the training created confidence and discipline among the youth. They added that the completion of this batch sets the stage for future Agniveers who will continue to join the Armed Forces through the same system.
