AIMIM Holds Strategy Meet In Hyderabad Ahead of Maharashtra Civic Polls
- Owaisi directs party cadre to focus on local issues and marginalized communities
AIMIM | Hyderabad, Sept. 5: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) convened a crucial strategy meeting in Hyderabad to chalk out its plan for the upcoming Maharashtra Municipal Corporation elections.
The meeting was chaired by AlI Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Supremo and Hyderabad MP Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi.
Senior leaders and state committee members from Maharashtra attended the session, where detailed discussions were held on strengthening the party’s organizational structure.
It was resolved that AIMIM will expand its presence in multiple municipal corporations, including Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, Solapur, Jalna, Parbhani, Nanded, and Beed.
AIMIM Focus on ground-level issues
The party leadership emphasized that municipal bodies are directly connected to the day-to-day lives of citizens. Workers were instructed to engage with the public more closely, highlight local issues, and address the problems faced by minorities, Dalits, and other marginalized groups.

AIMIM Maharashtra President and former MP Imtiyaz Jaleel said, “The Municipalities are directly connected to the lives of the people, so it is our responsibility to solve the ground level problems of the public. AIMIM will contest the upcoming elections keeping these issues at the centre.”
The meeting underlined AIMIM’s strategy to expand its footprint in Maharashtra’s civic politics while positioning itself as a voice for communities that, the party claims, remain underrepresented in governance.
