Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 5 (Maxim News): The Modi government has unveiled a 15 year plan. The Indian Ministry of Defence has prepared a mega defence plan for the modernization of the military forces. A huge plan has been prepared with nuclear warships, hypersonic missiles, lasers, robotics, and AI weapons. The central government has decided to build a new aircraft carrier for the navy.
After the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, the Modi government has announced a major defence development plan. Through this, the Indian armed forces will be modernized with cutting-edge technology with an investment of billions of dollars. According to this roadmap, India will add nuclear-powered warships, next -generation battle tanks, hypersonic missiles, stealth bomber drones, AI-based weapons and space-based warfare technology to its arsenal.
the Indian Army will induct around 1,800 state-of-the art tanks to replace the T-72 battle tanks, 400 light tanks for mountain warfare, 50,000 anti-tank guided missiles to be mounted on tanks, and 700 robotic counter-IED systems.
The navy will get a new aircraft carrier, 10 advanced warships, 7 modern corvettes, 4 landing dock platforms, Nuclear propulsion system and electromagnetic aircraft launch systems for warships have also been approved. (Maxim News)
