He has been named as the panel speaker to discharge the responsibilities of functioning the House.

It is to mention here that he Born and raised in Hyderabad, Kausar Mohiuddin began his political career with the AIMIM and has remained a loyal member.
In the 2014 Assembly elections, he was handpicked by party chief Asaduddin Owaisi to contest the Karwan constituency, replacing Afsar Khan.

Kausar Mohiuddin won convincingly, defeating his nearest rival from the BJP by a significant margin of 38,000 votes. He secured a second term in 2018, again defeating a BJP candidate.
Currently, Kausar Mohiuddin is seeking a third term in the ongoing 2023 Assembly elections. His decision to stand again highlights his strong commitment to serving the people of Karwan constituency particularly.
He remains a prominent figure in the state’s political landscape, advocating for the interests of his constituents and community.
