AIMIM Not Enemy, Praise Owaisi: Revanth Reddy
Hyderabad, Sept 15 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said though AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had spoken against the Congress, he was not an enemy. He also showered praise on Asaduddin Owaisi, calling him the voice of poor people.

On the occasion of the launching of the book ‘Prophet for the World recently, Revanth Reddy said the Rivers Esa and Musi were plagued with pollution and efforts were being made to address these issues. Towards these initiatives, AIMIM’s support was sought and the party responded positively. The State government was preparing a list of affected people for allotting double-bedroom houses, he said.
“If we take up works with different plans and ideas, Hyderabad’s image would take a beating. Whenever there were any suggestions from AIMIM, the state government considered them seriously, he said, also stating that Owaisi was raising the issues of poor people, especially minorities, adivasis, and Dalits in Lok Sabha.

“It is good to see a fellow Hyderabadi fighting for the poor. At times, when he spoke against Congress also, I felt good as our brother was raising his voice. When people speak against us, they do not become our enemies” Revanth Reddy said.
Stating that there were very few who spoke for the people, he said many businessmen and corporate people were stepping into the Parliament now. “They hardly raise their voice about poor people’s issues. Among the 17 MPs, only Asaduddin Owaisi has become the poor people’s voice, he said. (Maxim News)
