Hyderabad: Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan grabbed global attention with her first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2026, dazzling fans in a shimmering sapphire blue couture gown. The actress, known for her iconic Cannes looks over the years, once again dominated social media with her glamorous red carpet style.
Aishwarya arrived in Cannes earlier this week along with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. The mother daughter duo was earlier spotted at Mumbai airport twinning in black outfits before departing for France. Soon after reaching Cannes, Aishwarya received a warm welcome at Hotel Martinez, where several videos and photographs of her arrival surfaced online.
The actress later made her first public appearance in a dramatic sapphire blue gown that instantly went viral across social media platforms. Interestingly, earlier reports suggested that Aishwarya might skip Cannes 2026 after L’Oréal Paris initially did not feature her in promotional campaign visuals for the festival. However, the beauty brand later referred to her as a “living legend,” ending speculation about her absence.
