Akhilesh Yadav Expels Three SP MLAs, Alleged Links With BJP
Lucknow/Hyderabad, june 23 (Maxim News): The main opposition Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh has taken a key decision. The party led by akhilesh Yadav has expelled three MLAs.
It has accused them of engaging in anti-party activities and having links with the BJP. Gosaiganj MLa Abhay Singh, Gauriganj MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh and Tokhaar MLa Manoj Kumar Pandey have been expelled from the party, the party said in an official statement.
Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party (SP) has accused the three sitting MLAs of being associated with a party that promotes anti-party activities and negative ideology that creates division on religious lines. It said that the time given to it to reconsider its political stance has expired.
In this context, it has been decided to expel these three MLAs in the interest of the party as well as the public. The SP alleged that the expelled MLAs rebelled and voted against the party during the Rajya Sabha elections held in 2024. (Maxim news)
