All Food Security Card Holders Are Eligible For Gruhalakshmi Scheme: Gangula Kamalakar
Karimnagar/Hyderabad, Aug 19 (Maxim News): BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar clarified that all the food security card holders are eligible for the Grahalakshmi scheme.
The Minister held a meeting at the Karimnagar Collectorate along with MLAs, MLCs, and officials of the district in a review of the distribution schemes of handouts and subsidized sheep to Dalits and BC castes.
For those who have their own land and want to build a house, under the Gruha Lakshmi scheme Rs. 3 lakh financial assistance will be provided, he said, 10,500 beneficiaries have been announced under the first installment of Grahalakshmi scheme across Karimnagar district.
Beneficiaries are advised to submit applications on white paper to Tahsildar in rural areas and in municipal offices in urban areas. He said that there is no such thing as a special application form for Grahalakshmi and the government has nothing to do with the form circulating on social media. He said that the selection of the beneficiaries will be made by the District Minister and the Collector. A Nodal Officer for the constituency and a special Verification Officer for each Mandal have been appointed for the implementation of the Mahalakshmi scheme. (Maxim News)
