All Set To Open Numaish On Jan. 1: Etela

Hyderabad, Dec.29 (Maxim News): The 80th All India Industrial Exhibition (Numaish) this year will be held from January 1 and remain till February 15, 2020. Some 2,000 stalls have been allotted to various exhibitors, including State and Central government Departments, Public Sector undertakings, Corporates and Multinational companies.

Medical & Health Minister Eatala Rajendar, who is also president of the Hyderabad Exhibition Society on Sunday said they made elaborate security arrangements for the successful conduct of the annual Numaish at Nampally. He also said the exhibition would begin on January 1, and would continue till February 15,  2020.

Addressing the media here, Eatala said they have taken all steps to prevent last year’s bitter incidents involving fire accident. He said they were setting up fire engines at a cost of Rs 3 crore. He also disclosed that they spent Rs two crore to lay underground electric lines for two km. The exhibition had become a source of living for thousands of people in the city and some 30,000 students were benefiting from the educational institutions run by the Society.

Some of the participants include Telangana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd, TTK Prestige Ltd, Preeti Sewing Machine Company (Usha), Shakti Enterprises, Vardhaman Enterprises, Industrial Power Control, Kingstone Building Developers,  M/s. Bambino Pista Food Industries (P) Ltd, Hind Ware, Sri Venkata Sai Trading Pvt. Ltd, Vikhyath Infra Developers (P) Ltd, Chimney World, Sun City JSR Group, Information & Public Relations, Telangana Prisons, Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Telangana Khadi & Village Industries Board, Tirumala Housing Pvt. Ltd, AP Mahesh Cooperative Urban Bank, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Sukhibhava Properties Ltd, Telangana Legal Services Authority,  To encourage budding artistes and enhance their skills, competitions in artisan events will be conducted and prizes would be given to the winners.

The Exhibition Grounds is connected by Hyderabad Metro Rail from Gandhi Bhavan and Nampally Metro Stations on Red Line (Miyapur to LB Nagar). HMR has agreed to run extra metro trains with increased frequency for the convenience of the visitors to the Exhibition up to 11.30 pm. Special counters are arranged in the Exhibition Grounds for purchasing Metro Train Tickets. The Exhibition Society, in collaboration with Yashoda Group of Hospitals is offering Health Services at affordable rates at the Medical Check-up Centre put up during the Exhibition. (Maxim News)
