The GHMC Commissioner has issued an order to close all meat shops and slaughterhouses in the city on Sunday. With this, the meat shops in Bhagyanagar will be closed on Sunday.
It is known that Mahavir Jayanti is the most important festival for Jains. GHMC has taken this decision due to the significant number of Jains in Hyderabad city.
