He stated that earlier infiltrators used to enter Assam as well. However, he said that after the formation of the BJP government, such infiltrations stopped there. He further alleged that currently infiltrators are entering India only from Bengal, raising serious security concerns for the country.

He also alleged that the TMC government is not allocating land to the BSF for border fencing despite a court order. According to him, this has affected efforts to strengthen border security. He added that the state police and officials are not stopping illegal migration effectively.

Amit Shah further claimed that infiltrators are entering other states through Bengal using fake documents. He expressed anger that Mamata was making baseless allegations against the “SIR” process and the Election Commission. He said this was being done out of fear that the votes of infiltrators would be lost.

He assured that if his party comes to power in Bengal, strict steps will be taken to stop infiltration. He also said that a border fence would be built to address the issue.
