Amit Shah Orders CM Revanth Reddy to Deport Pakistanis from Hyderabad Within Two Days
Hyderabad, April 25 (Maxim News): In a swift and decisive move following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has instructed Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to ensure the deportation of 208 Pakistani nationals currently residing in Hyderabad. The directive comes as part of a nationwide alert issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs in the wake of heightened security concerns.
According to official sources, Amit Shah personally reached out to Chief Minister, urging them to take immediate action to identify and expel Pakistani citizens overstaying or residing in India under various pretexts. In Hyderabad, local law enforcement agencies have been closely monitoring individuals of Pakistani origin, collecting detailed information and verifying their immigration status.
Authorities confirmed that 208 Pakistani nationals have been located within Hyderabad city. Following the Union Home Minister’s directive, the Ministry has ordered that these individuals be repatriated to Pakistan within the next 48 hours. Their visas have reportedly been revoked, and arrangements for their return are being expedited.
The Home Ministry’s move is seen as part of a larger crackdown aimed at tightening internal security after the recent attack in Jammu and Kashmir. States have been asked to remain vigilant and ensure strict implementation of deportation protocols.

Police officials in Hyderabad are coordinating with central immigration agencies to facilitate the process smoothly. Security has been beefed up around sensitive areas, and regular checks are being conducted to prevent any law and order issues during the deportation process.
This development underscores the central government’s intensified focus on national security and its zero-tolerance policy toward illegal or potentially risky foreign nationals residing in the country. (Maxim News)
