Amount Received From Sale Of TSPSC Papers Diverted: ED Interrogated Chairman And Secretary
Hyderabad, May 2 (Maxim News): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials who are investigating on the diversion of funds in the case of TSPSC paper leak scam has interrogated the Commission Chairman Janardhan Reddy and Secretary Anita Ramachandra for 12 hours yesterday from 11 am and questioned them for 12 hours till 11 pm.
According to the sources it seems that the ED officials have questioned on many aspect like preparation of question papers, administration of exams, release of results etc. it is known that the ED has already interrogated the main accused Praveen and Rajasekhar Reddy along with Sankaralakshmi, the in-charge of the confidential section.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up by the state government has so far arrested 19 people in the question paper leakage case. Another accused is in New Zealand.
The ED has registered another case on the suspicion that the funds received from the sale of question papers have been diverted. They took the necessary documents from the court and started the investigation. As part of this, Janardhan Reddy and Anita Ramachandran were called to their office and questioned on Monday.
Mainly three sets of question papers are prepared, stored in the confidential section, printed, distributed, it seems that the whole process was inquired and recorded. The Confidential Section is under the Secretary. It seems that the officials who questioned the secretary about the precautions taken to prevent the question paper from falling out.
The hoax came to light when a candidate complained to the police that the Town Planning Building Overseer question paper had been leaked. Why the Commission officials could not detect the leakage till then? ED seems to have asked who is responsible for this. The ED officials interrogated both of them separately for a short time and together for a short time. Meanwhile, the ED officials are investigating the diversion of funds. (Maxim News)
