Amrapali Kata Appeals To Contribute To Preparation Of Error-Free Voter List

Hyderabad, Sept 5 (Maxim News): GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata said that as part of the Special Summary Revision-2025 process, political parties should cooperate to prepare the voter list without mistakes.

A meeting on special summary revision was held with representatives of political parties at the GHMC headquarters recently. Speaking on this occasion, she mentioned that those who have completed 18 years of age by October have the opportunity to register on the voter list. She said that the Election Commission has made it possible for those who are eligible to register as voters but whose names have not been registered in the voter list.

It has been explained that the BLOs will complete the house-to-house survey by October 18 for the correction of errors in the voter list, rationalization of polling stations, and correcting the polling station boundaries. “Form 1-8 will be prepared and completed from October 19 to 28 for comprehensive draft rolls, voter registration and additions, she said.

Publication of voter list from October 29 to November 28 Claim and Objection, resolution is possible upto December 24.  The final list will be published on January 6.
