An Unexpected Twist In Delhi Liquor Scam Before Kavitha’s Trial

A big twist in Delhi Liquor Scam | Delhi/Hyderabad, Mar 10 (Maxim News):  A crucial turning point has taken place in the Delhi Liquor Scam case.  The trial of BRS MLC Kavitha, daughter of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is scheduled to take place on March 11, but today Arun Ramachandra Pillai have an unexpected twist, he filed a petition in rouse Avenue Court today seeking an opportunity to retract the statement he had given to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) The court sent notices to the ED on the petition filed by Pillai. 

Arun Ramachandra Pillai has already been arrested in the Delhi Excise Police case.  The ED is preparing to investigate Kavitha based on Ramachandra Pillai’s testimony tomorrow.  Actually, she was to be tried on March 9, but she is not able to attend the hearing due to her pre-fixed schedule.  She told the ED that she will attend the hearing on March 11.

In this background today, Arun Ramachandra Pillai is giving a twist.  Pillai has already said in his testimony that he is Kavitha benami.  He also told the ED that Rs. 32 crores came into his account because of what she said.  He also said that one crore rupees also went into his own account.   

South Group also has 32.5 percent shares in the Delhi Liquor Scam.  ED says that Kavitha has a stake in these too.  The ED has digital evidence that the profits went to the accounts of Kavitha and Pillai.  All the other evidence including the cell phone is with the ED.  Anyway, Kavitha will be examined tomorrow in the presence of Arun Ramachandra Pillai. so there is a possibility that Ramachandra Pillai will say that he did not say all that.  We have to wait and see what will happen tomorrow in the background of all these developments.  (Maxim News)
