Andhra: 100-Feet YSR Statue To Be Set Up At Polavaram Project

Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav on Tuesday directed the officials to prepare a proposal for setting up a 100-feet statue of former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy at the Polavaram Project. He inspected the project to know the progress of ongoing works.

Speaking to the media, the minister came down heavily on former TDP minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao for spreading lies regarding the height of Polavaram. He demanded Devineni Uma to reveal the cabinet resolution passed in 2017 about Polavaram. “The Jagan government will complete the project as per the revised schedule,” he mentioned.
