AP Borders Closed Till May 18, No Entry For Vehicles From Other States After 12 Noon
The borders will remain closed till May 18. However, exemptions given to those who are involved in medical and emergency services.
May 5: As the AP government took a decision to impose daytime curfew for two weeks in the state to stop the spread of coronavirus in the second wave, inter-state borders were closed. Vehicles from other states will not be allowed after 12 noon.
If anyone violates and enters the state then cases will be registered against him under various sections, a police official said who is enforcing curfew on national highway at Garikapadu check-post near Jaggayyapeta in Krishna district. The borders will remain closed till May 18. However, exemptions given to those who are involved in medical and emergency services.
