AP Government To Distribute Pensions

Amaravati, Sept.30 (Maxim News): The state government has set the stage to distribute pensions in Andhra Pradesh. State rural development and panchayat Raj minister P. Ramachandra Reddy has said that they had made all the arrangements to distribute the pensions. He said that the pension scheme YSR pension gift would be commenced from November 1 and would be given to 61.65 lakh people of the state through village volunteers.

He said that the state government had issued orders Rs.1497.88 crore to implement the scheme. It has sanctioned pensions to 34907 people in the ongoing month under the scheme and sanctioned Rs.8.52 crore for the new pensioners. The 2.52 lakh volunteers of the state would distribute the pensions to the beneficiaries. The state government would also distribute 847 ex-servicemen welfare pensions through volunteers from this month. The state government has released Rs.42 lakh for these pensions.(Maxim News)
