Andhra Pradesh’s future in the AP pharma and IT sectors was highlighted by Andhra Pradesh BJP President PVN Madhav during his visit to Vijayawada. He said that AP is going to become a hub for pharma and IT while speaking to the media on Sunday. His remarks came after he attended several programmes in the city.

Madhav said that a war room has been opened for the coordination of the centenary celebrations of the late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He explained that the planning work has already begun. He added that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Singh and Shivraj Singh Chouhan were invited to attend the first day of the Vajpayee centenary celebrations. According to him, the event will mark a major commemoration of Vajpayee’s contributions.

He stated that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had promised to build a Vajpayee memorial. Madhav noted that “Vajpayee would be a model for coalition rule” and recalled that Vajpayee was “a pioneer for development in the united Andhra Pradesh state.” He said that statues of Vajpayee would be installed across AP as part of the centenary celebrations. He stressed that these efforts aim to honour Vajpayee’s role in national politics and his impact on governance.

Meanwhile, Madhav said that both the central and state governments are working for the progress of AP and its rise to the top in the country. He said that Rayalaseema will be developed as a power house. He also said that Vajpayee played a key role in making telecom services cheaper in India. Madhav added that this programme will start in Dharmavaram on the 11th of this month. His comments linked the state’s development goals with ongoing political programmes and events.
