Amaravati, Jan 22: Covid-19 positive cases are increasing across Andhra Pradesh and triggered panic among the residents. According to the reports, the officials collected 44000 samples and 13,212 persons tested positive for the Covid-19 within 24 hours. Reports said that five persons died while undergoing treatment. Visakhapatnam and Chittoor are reporting a high number of Covid cases for the last few days.
Amid increasing Covid cases, the Andhra Pradesh government conducted an emergency cabinet meeting and CM YS Jagan directed the officials to take necessary preventive measures to contain the virus from spreading.
