AP Transfers Several IPS Officers On Promotion

Amaravati, March 6 (Maxim News): The Andhra Pradesh Government today issued orders promoting and transferring several IPS officers. As per the orders, the promotions and transfers will come into effect immediately as stated in the order signed by State Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney.

Harish Kumar Gupta, Additional Director General of Police, Home Guards is transferred and he is posted as Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board in the existing vacancy.

R.K. Meena, Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam City, on his promotion as Additional Director General of Police, is retained as Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam City by creating an Ex-cadre post in the rank of Additional Director General of Police.

P. Hari Kumar, Inspector General of Police, who is waiting for posting, is posted as Inspector General of Police, Legal, O/o DGP(HoPF), AP in the existing vacancy.

Ch. Srikanth, Deputy Inspector General of Police, SIB , on his promotion as Inspector General of Police, is posted as Inspector General of Police, SIB by creating an Ex-cadre post in the rank of Inspector General of Police.

A. S. Khan, , Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eluru Range, on his promotion as Inspector General of Police, is posted as Inspector General of Police, Marine by creating an Ex-cadre post in the rank of Inspector General of Police.

J. Prabhakar Rao, Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID, on his promotion as Inspector General of Police, is posted as Inspector General of Police, Guntur range vice Vineet Brij Lal, is transferred.

On transfer, Vineet Brij Lal, is posted as Director of Enforcement by creating an Ex-cadre post in the rank of Inspector General Police, duly relieving N.V. Surendra Babu, from the responsibility for enforcement against illegal sand mining and enforcement issues relating to Excise department.

Vineet Brij Lal, will also hold the full additional charge of post of Director, Prohibition and Excise.

Dr. Kolli Raghuram Reddy, Superintendent of Police, CI Cell, Intelligence, on his promotion as Deputy Inspector General of Police, is posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Intelligence in the existing vacancy.

G.V.G. Ashok Kumar, Joint Director, Anti Corruption Bureau, on his promotion as Deputy Inspector General of Police, is posted as Additional Director, Anti Corruption Bureau by creating an ex-cadre post in the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police.

B.Krishna Rao, on his transfer, is posted as Commandant, 6th Battalion, APSP, Mangalagiri in the existing vacancy.

Amit Bardar, OSD, Chintoor is transferred and he is posted as Commandant, 3th Battalion, APSP, Kakinada in the existing vacancy.
