New Delhi, Sep 15: Apple has launched its latest software updates, including iOS 27, with a new Siri AI experience, enhanced Apple Intelligence features and expanded parental controls.
The new releases include iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27 and tvOS 27, the company said. The next-generation Siri AI experience is being rolled out in beta in English.
The company said support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish will be added in October.
The company has also introduced new tools to help parents manage children’s digital experiences. These include age-based safeguards for child accounts, approval for new websites and contacts, enhanced Communication Safety features and a redesigned Screen Time experience.
Apple adds TV and Arcade to iCloud in India
Separately, company announced that iCloud subscribers in India will receive access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost from this month.
The iCloud subscription starts at Rs 75 per month for 50GB of storage. Subscribers will also receive access to Apple Music Select, which offers a collection of ad-free music stations.
Apple TV provides access to the company’s original films and series, while Apple Arcade offers more than 200 games without advertisements or in-app purchases.
Apple said the combined iCloud offering with Apple TV and Apple Arcade will roll out across more than 100 countries and regions through the end of September.
However, Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be available as individual subscriptions directly through Apple in India. Existing subscribers will continue to access the services through their iCloud subscription, while their individual subscriptions will be cancelled.
Apple also said Apple One will no longer be available to new subscribers in India. Existing Apple One subscribers will continue to have access to their current plans.
