Argument Between Kharge And Nadda: Ruckus In Rajya Sabha

Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb 5 (Maxim News): A heated argument broke out in the Rajya Sabha between Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge and Union Minister JP Nadda over parliamentary procedure. It is known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday was interrupted. On Thursday, a war of words broke out between the ruling and opposition leaders in the Rajya Sabha. Union Minister JP Nadda objected to Kharge’s allegation that restrictions were being imposed on speaking on matters of national interest in Parliament (Kharge Nadda argument).

“Parliament consists of both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. In the Lok Sabha, the Leader of Opposition wanted to talk about the interests of the country. But the government did not allow him to do so. How can you run the House like this?” Kharge asked. Responding to this question, JP Nadda replied, “The proceedings of the Lok Sabha cannot be discussed in the Rajya Sabha. My esteemed colleague should know this.” Nadda said that the government led by Prime Minister Modi is always ready to hold a discussion on anything (Rajya Sabha disruption).

“Prime Minister Modi is always ready to answer any question in the Lok Sabha (Parliament chaos India). But the opposition is not allowing the proceedings of the House to proceed. Union Minister Piyush Goyal made a statement on the India-US trade agreements as requested by the opposition,” JP Nadda recalled. After a heated argument, the opposition MPs walked out of the Rajya Sabha. (Maxim News)
