As BJP Failed To Deliver, Poll Verdict Will Decide Fate Of People: Pilot

Hyderabad, April 8 (Maxim News): Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot termed upcoming elections as a judgment that will show a direction to the country. He alleged that the BJP-led NDA government at the Center has miserably failed to fulfill its promises made to the people on the eve of last elections. He also said failure of the BJP helped the Congress to win elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh States

Commenting on the recent Assembly elections held in Telangana State, Pilot said the elections were held on separate Telangana sentiment. He said the Congress had fielded strong candidates in the upcoming elections and the people should vote for the party for development of the infant State. Targeting the BJP, Pilot said the BJP leaders were portraying innocent students as traitors for raising the problems suffered by the people. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi failed to fulfill his promise of depositing Rs 15 lakh in the bank accounts of poor people in the country.

Sachin Pilot assured the people that the Congress would deposit Rs 72,000 per year in the bank accounts of the poor families in the country after returning to power. He also alleged that the BJP tried to dilute the NREGS scheme introduced by the Congress party. He said both the BJP and TRS failed to fulfill their promises in the last five year. Alleging that physical attacks on the Dalits and Muslims have increased in the country, Pilot exhorted the people to work hard for bringing in clean politics. He also alleged that the BJP politicized the Phulwama terror attack. (Maxim News)
