An assistant jail superintendent in Chhattisgarh was placed under suspension for making a controversial post on social media supporting Naxals.
“Jail official Dinesh Dhruv, who is posted at the Baloda Bazar District Jail, was suspended for violating the code of conduct for public servants,” said Deputy Inspector General of Police (Prison) KK Gupta said today.
A couple of months ago, similar disciplinary action was taken against Raipur Central Jail’s Deputy Superintendent Varsha Dongre for making objectionable remarks against “atrocities” on tribal folk in Naxal-affected areas of the state.
