Atrocity For Two Crores Insurance: Conspiracy To Kill A Friend
Khammam/Hyderabad, Feb 17 (Maxim News): It has been proven many times that money destroys human relationships. For the sake of money, people do not hesitate to murder people, regardless of their own or others . One such incident took place in Khammam district. Two people planned to kill an orphaned young man by insuring him for two crores and then collecting the money. However, the attempt was thwarted and they were arrested.
According to the police, Yashwanth, a young man who previously worked as a contract worker at ITC PSPD in Sarapaka, is an orphan. He has no parents. However, Katta Saidideepak, a resident of the same village, has been friends with Yashwanth for the past six months. He has been helping him financially in every way and has been pretending to be supportive in all matters. Konda Bhanuprakash, an insurance sales officer of a private bank from Bhadrachalam, also joined them. However, in this process, Saidideepak, who was facing financial difficulties, and Bhanuprakash, who was knowledgeable in the insurance sector, planned to kill Yashwanth. They planned to settle financially with the insurance money received from the Accidental Insurance Policy .
But there was another twist. Although Yashwant and Saidideepak belong to different castes, their family name (Katta) is the same. That too came to the fore for the accused. As per the pre-planned plan, the accused had insured Yashwant for Rs 2 crore four months ago. As part of that, they registered Yashwant’s name as a nominee, showing in the records that Saidideepak would be his brother.
As everything went as planned, as part of the plan, they gave Yashwanth a scooty in Bhadrachalam last Saturday night, bought him liquor and told him to come to Mote Pattinagar near Sarapaka. As per the plan, Saidideepak and Bhanuprakash reached there early in the car. Later, when Yashwanth arrived, they made him drink liquor at the Sammakka-Saralamma Gaddel, and in this process, the accused suddenly attacked him on the head with a strong object. Yashwanth lost consciousness due to the blows, he was left dead and they threw the scooty away. They arranged it to look like a road accident. However, locals who were walking on the road saw Yashwanth lying in a pool of blood and informed the police.
By this time, the accused had reached there and taken him to the hospital in an ambulance, believing that he was injured. Yashwanth was first taken from Bhadrachalam to Guntur and from there back to Khammam. His condition is currently critical. However, when the police became suspicious and investigated, the real matter came to light. Burgampadu SI Meda Prasad has registered a case and is investigating. (Maxim News)
