Auto driver held for burgling Bajaj Electronics at Medchal

Hyderabad, Oct.14 (NSS): As a part of apprehension of an accused, the Medchal police scrutinized all the CCTV footages nearby the scene of offence and the path of the accused travelled. On meticulous verification of all the CCTV footages traced the accused person in a tactical manner and recovered 15 Iphones, 15 Xioami (MI) Smart Phones, four One Plus Phones, two Samsung Smart Phone, four Vivo Phones, two HP Laptops, one Lenovo Laptop all worth of Rs 20,08,787.

The accused was involved in Cr.no. 798/2022U/s 457, 380 IPC of Medchal Police station, Cyberabad. The accused was identified as Tarikoppula Venkatesh, son of Tarikoppula Chandraiah, aged 28 yrs belonging to Kummari caste, working as driver and residing at H.No 2-56, Ravalkole, Medchal.

Police said the accused is an auto driver, who commutes his auto daily in Medchal limits. The accused was incurred heavy debts due to his extravagant lavish life. The accused used to go to Bajaj Electronics frequently to purchase mobile phone, but he cannot afford to buy. On October 10 midnight the accused came in an auto and parked

It behind the Bajaj Electronics showroom and entered the premises and committed theft of 40 smart phones and three laptops and escaped.

On October 14, the accused left in the early hours to sell the stolen electronic gadgets in any market along with the stolen property. However, while he was proceeding towards Hyderabad city, the police, who were checking vehicles at Kistapur, the Medchal police apprehended him and recovered the 20 lakh booty.
