Danam Nagender Says No Notice on Disqualification

Hyderabad, March 4: Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender said he has not personally received any notice from the Speaker regarding the disqualification petition.

Dannam clarified that he would respond directly to the Speaker if he receives a notice. Therefore, he maintained that no official communication has reached him so far.

Danam Nagender made these remarks while speaking to the media after attending Holi celebrations at People’s Plaza on Necklace Road in Hyderabad. He participated in the festive event and interacted with youth during the celebrations.

Meanwhile, he addressed questions related to the disqualification petition filed against him.

Danam Nagender Reacts to Disqualification Petition

Responding to queries, Danam Nagender stated that he has not been served any personal notice from the Speaker in connection with the disqualification petition.

Nagender said that if a notice is delivered to him, he will present his opinion directly to the Speaker. However, until then, he said there is no question of responding.

His comments come amid ongoing political discussions surrounding the disqualification petition.

Although details of the petition were not elaborated upon, the MLA made it clear that he would follow due process if formally notified.
Therefore, he stressed that any response would be made before the appropriate authority.

Holi Celebrations at Necklace Road

Earlier, Danam Nagender took part in Holi celebrations held at People’s Plaza on Necklace Road.

Danam Nagender said the festival reminded him of his childhood days. As a result, he joined the youth in dancing and celebrating the occasion.

The MLA appeared cheerful during the event and engaged with participants.

Later, he briefly spoke to the media about both the festival and the political issue. While he celebrated Holi with enthusiasm, he maintained a cautious tone regarding the disqualification matter.

For now, Danam Nagender has reiterated that he has not received any official notice. He has also stated that he will convey his stand directly to the Speaker once such notice is served.
