Automen’s JAC Demands Suspension Of West Zone RTO For Corrupt Practices
Hyderabad, Jan.12 (Maxim News): Telangana State Auto Drivers JAC demanded Transport Commissioner immediately suspend west zone RTO C.P. Venkateshwar Rao for intentionally delaying the RTA transactions of Auto drivers in particular and for indulging in corrupt practices.
TADJAC leaders Mohd Amanullah Khan, Thakur Jai Singh and Hamed Ansari have demanded that the State government eradicate corruption in the RTA offices by implementing Right to Services Guarantee Act so that penalties could be collected from their salaries in case of work delays and corrupt practices, otherwise, the Auto Drivers would organize dharnas demanding for corruption-free RTA offices.
All the RTA offices are computerized and the work is completed the same day, but in case of RTA west zone, the RTA employees keep the work pending for days and there was nobody to question the “adamant” attitude of the RTO concerned CP Venkateshwar Rao. Therefore, they demanded that the Transport Commissioner enquire into the delay tactics and corrupt practices of the west zone RTO and suspend him immediately. (Maxim News)
