Hyderabad, March 6 (Maxim News): Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad has said act of Telangana Government by arresting Revanth Reddy, Congress MP of Lok Sabha for raising his voice against corruption and illegal construction undertaken by the leader of the ruling party in the State.
“Generally, the stand taken by the Member of Parliament should have been appreciated and action should have been initiated against the corrupt leaders, instead of that, the MP has been jailed. “This shows the close nexus between the government and those who are undertaking illegal construction”, he added
“The highhandedness on the part of the State Government is highly deplorable”, Azad said and strongly condemned the “undemocratic’ act of the State government and demanded that Revanth Reddy be immediately released and initiate action against the culprits involved in illegal construction.
