Bandi Sanjay Demands Rs. One Crore For Gram Panchayats

  • Bandi Sanjay says Rs five lakhs is not enough for gram panchayats
  • Bandi Sanjay questions Congress promises and alleges corruption

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay demanded that each gram panchayat in Telangana should receive Rs one crore from the government. He said the present allocation was far too small. According to him, gram panchayats need proper funds to carry out development work. He stressed that villages cannot progress with limited financial support.

Bandi Sanjay said every gram panchayat expects Rs one crore. However, he claimed that the Chief Minister was giving only Rs five lakhs. He stated that five lakhs was not enough for the development of a gram panchayat. He therefore questioned the seriousness of the government toward rural growth. He also linked the issue to the daily needs of villages, which depend on steady funding.

Meanwhile, Bandi Sanjay questioned the promises made by the Congress party during the elections. He asked what happened to those assurances. He also asked whether the people of Telangana do not pay taxes. According to him, the situation has caused concern within the ruling party. He said Congress MLAs were in despair. He further stated that secret meetings were taking place in the Congress, which, he claimed, showed internal unrest.

Later, Bandi Sanjay made strong allegations against ministers. He said that two or three ministers were earning illegally by showing off. He claimed that data on the illegal income of ministers was being collected through the Intelligence Bureau. He added that corrupt ministers must go to jail at some point. He also said that the days of revolution were near, indicating rising public anger.

Therefore, his remarks combined financial demands with sharp political criticism. He focused on gram panchayat funding, election promises, and alleged corruption. His statements added pressure on the state government and the Congress leadership. The comments have drawn attention to rural development and governance issues in Telangana.
