Speaking on the matter, Bandi Sanjay clarified, “I am not in the race for the state BJP president. I do not want the position.” He also revealed that the party’s high command is displeased with names being floated on social media and in the media, as well as with leaders actively campaigning for the role.

Criticism of Southern States’ JAC Meeting on Delimitation

Bandi Sanjay also reacted to the Southern States’ JAC meeting on delimitation, chaired by Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin in Chennai. He alleged that the meeting was attended by leaders with a history of corruption, calling them “a gang of thieves involved in liquor and land scams.” He accused the DMK of a ₹1,000 crore liquor scam and questioned Telangana CM Revanth Reddy for not issuing notices to KCR’s family regarding corruption cases.

Raja Singh’s Remarks on New BJP President Selection

Meanwhile, BJP MLA Raja Singh made strong comments regarding the selection of the next Telangana BJP president. He questioned who would appoint the new president, warning that if the state committee selects the leader, the position will become a “rubber stamp.”

He alleged that previous BJP presidents had formed their factions, leading to the party’s setbacks in Telangana. Raja Singh asserted that if MLAs and MPs were given more freedom, the BJP would emerge stronger in the state. (Maxim News)
