Hyderabad, Sept 20: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar helped rescue a family after their car crashed near Gajwel in Siddipet district on Sunday.
The family was travelling in the car when it hit a road divider and overturned.
The vehicle’s airbags deployed during the crash, helping prevent more serious consequences.
The couple travelling in the front seats suffered minor injuries. Their daughter, who was seated in the rear, sustained serious injuries.
Bandi Sanjay Arranges Hospital Treatment for Victims
Sanjay was travelling from Hyderabad to Sircilla when he came across the accident.
He immediately stopped and joined security personnel in rescuing the family from the damaged vehicle.
Sanjay also arranged for the injured family to be taken to a hospital in a police vehicle.
He directed police personnel at the scene to ensure that the victims received proper medical treatment.
Meanwhile, a separate road accident in Mumbai claimed three lives early Sunday.
The accident occurred on the Mumbai Coastal Road near Lotus Jetty, opposite Lala College, at around 5.20 am.
According to the Coastal Road Control Room, the car was travelling from Marine Drive towards Haji Ali when the driver allegedly lost control.
All four occupants were taken to Nair Hospital after the crash.
A hospital update issued around 8.40 am said doctors declared three occupants dead on arrival.
The deceased included a 21 year old and a 17 year old. Their identities were yet to be confirmed.
The fourth occupant, a 20 year old man, suffered serious injuries and was admitted to the trauma ward.
His condition was reported to be critical, according to hospital authorities.
