Hyderabad, Aug 14 (Maxim News): Two controversial banners targeting Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh were found erected in Humayun Nagar on Thursday night, prompting police to intervene and remove them.
At around 11.30 pm, the local police noticed one banner near Jahanara Masjid, in front of the newly constructed house identified as that of Salman Khan of Hyderabad Youth Courage (HYC), and another banner opposite the house.
The banners carried a photograph of Raja Singh with an alleged footwear mark placed on his face. They also contained provocative language and called for people to sign in support of the campaign against the MLA.
“The matter was immediately brought to the notice of senior police officials. Officers reached the spot and both banners were removed,” said Mehdipatnam Inspector S Mallesh.
The incident came to light after a complaint was reportedly lodged with the police regarding the objectionable banners.(Maxim News)
