Beautification of Hiking Trail Park At Jubilee Hills to Be Fast-Tracked: GHMC Commissioner

Hyderabad, July 8, 2025 (Maxim News): In a bid to enhance public recreational spaces in the city, GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan has directed officials to expedite the beautification of the Hiking Trail Park located on Road No. 36, Jubilee Hills. During an inspection on Tuesday, the Commissioner emphasized the need for urgent upgrades and enhancements to improve the park’s appeal and functionality.

Accompanied by Khairatabad Zonal Commissioner Anurag Jayanthi, the Commissioner reviewed the development blueprint and suggested modifications and additions to align with public expectations. The inspection began from Road No. 36 and continued through connecting parks up to Road No. 25.

He instructed the engineering and horticulture teams to complete all beautification and pending works within a fixed timeline, ensuring the park offers a serene and enjoyable environment for daily walkers, nature lovers, and fitness enthusiasts.

The park, already popular among residents for its natural trail and greenery, will soon feature improved landscaping, walking paths, seating arrangements, and aesthetic elements, making it a model urban green space in Hyderabad.

Among those who accompanied the inspection were Circle 18 Executive Engineer Vijayakumar, Horticulture Officer Balayya, and other senior GHMC officials.
