Bhatti Demands Etela To Release White Paper On Status Of State Hospitals
Hyderabad, Aug.27 (Maxim News): CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday asked Health Minister Etela Rajender weather he was ready to release a white paper on the status of Public Health sector in the State. He also alleged that the Health sector in the State was in a pathetic condition with all government hospitals have no basic amenities for the poor and patients.
Speaking after inspecting the Mancherial government hospital, along with party MLA D. Sridhar Babu, Bhatti alleged that the State Government was ignoring the hospitals built by Congress governments and also Aarogyasri scheme launched during the previous regime. Bhatti said the Mancherial hospital has only 20 doctors as against the requisite strength of 60 doctors to serve the people of the district. He also alleged that the hospital authorities were sending the patients to Karminagar district government hospital for treatment as they lacked requisite staff and facilities. He also alleged that sanitation staffers in the hospitals were not getting their salaries since the last 20 months. (Maxim News)
