Hyderabad, Nov.14 (Maxim News): CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday paid rich tributes to the first prime minister of the country Jawaharlal Nehru on his birth anniversary at Abids in the city. Vikramarka paid floral tributes at the statue of Nehru on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Vikramarka said that Nehru was the architect of the modern India. He also said that Nehru spent several years in jail to achieve freedom for the country. He added That Nehru had come up with five year plans and the best economic policies for the reconstruction of the country. He also said that the foundation laid by the first prime minister had led the country on the path of development and helped it to send satellites in the galaxy. He said that it was the luck of the people of the country that a leader like Jawaharlal Nehru was born in India. Vikramarka said that the country was able to compete with the developed nations like America, thanks for the foundation laid by Jawaharlal Nehru. Vikramarka also said that it was Nehru who had brought all the 550 princely states together and created a vast country like India. Vikramarka was accompanied by several party leaders during the event.(Maxim News)
