Bhatti Resents CM’s Talk Of En Masse Dismissals Of Striking TSRTC Crew

Hyderabad, Oct.7 (Maxim News): CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday came down heavily on CM KCR for his statement to remove thousands of TSRTC employees and said no Chief Minister in the country ever made such a statement.

Speaking to mediapersons, Bhatti made it clear that the demands of the corporation employees were justified. He said RTC employees had demanded that the government merge the corporation with it. He alleged that the State government was hatching a conspiracy to privatize the corporation. He said the government was alone responsible for the losses incurred by the corporation.

The CLP leader said the State government was charging Rs 20 VAT on diesel. He said the imposition of VAT on diesel was causing a huge loss of Rs 400 crore to the corporation. Stating that the previous governments had taken steps to protect the corporation, Bhatti alleged that the government had already handed over properties belonging to the corporation to private individuals. He said the Congress would stand by the RTC employees. (Maxim News)
