Bhiwadi Chemical Factory Fire Kills 8 Workers

Hyderabad: A massive fire in a chemical factory in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, has killed eight workers on the spot. The incident took place in the Khushkhera Karauli industrial area of Khairthal-Tijara. More than 10 workers are said to be trapped. Police and fire brigade teams rushed to the scene and began rescue operations.

According to reports, the explosion occurred on Monday morning. At that time, around 20 to 25 workers were working inside the factory. Soon after the blast, a large-scale fire spread across the premises. Locals said the flames moved within seconds. As a result, workers inside could not escape in time.

Rescue Operations Continue Amid Thick Smoke

In this accident, eight workers were trapped in the fire and burnt alive. However, rescue teams have so far recovered seven bodies. The details of the deceased are yet to be known. Meanwhile, thick smoke has blanketed the area, making rescue work difficult.

Fire brigade personnel reached the spot with heavy machinery. They are trying to control the flames. However, the intensity of the fire has slowed rescue efforts. More than 10 people are still said to be trapped. Therefore, teams are working carefully to prevent further damage.

Cause of Bhiwadi Chemical Factory Fire Under Probe

The cause of the accident is not yet known. Police have started an investigation. They are examining whether a short circuit triggered the fire. They are also checking if chemicals stored in the factory caused the blaze.

Meanwhile, firefighters are trying to bring the situation under full control. Authorities have not yet released further details. However, locals fear that the death toll may rise. More information is expected as rescue and investigation efforts continue in the Bhiwadi industrial area of Khairthal-Tijara district in Rajasthan.
