BIG Blow For Ponguleti: Right Hand Likely To Go Back To The BRS

Bhadradri Kothagudem/Hyderabad, Aug 16 (Maxim News) Former Khammam MP and Congress leader Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has received a big blow. Tellam Venkata Rao, who was the main follower of Ponguleti joined the Congress along with him in the presence of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Delhi last month, lost patience, and he officially announced that he is going back to BRS.

He said through a video message that he going back to BRS because he does not like Congress’s ideologies and at the same time does not want to betray the trust of the workers who believed in him.  He said that he believes that the development of Bhadrachalam will take place under the leadership of KCR, and that is why he has taken this decision.  It seems that there is a possibility that he will return to the BRS group soon.

Tellam Venkata Rao has been a key follower of Ponguleti since the beginning In BRS, Tellam contested on behalf of TRS now BRS, and lost.  But he joined the Congress with Ponguleti hoping for a Bhadrachalam ticket in the upcoming elections.  But here he faced obstacles.

Venkata Rao was disappointed as there was a possibility of allocating the seat to Podem Veeraiaya, the sitting Congress MLA in the next election.  At the same time, it is reported that discussions were held with BRS’s main leader, Venkata Rao from the other side.  However, his relatives are spreading the word that he will come to BRS only if he is guaranteed a ticket.  I don’t know what happened in the end.  He announced that he will join BRS.
