Big Twist In Selection Of BJP Candidate For Jubilee Hills: Vikram Goud To The Fore?
Hyderabad, Oct 14 (Maxim News): A big twist has taken place in the finalization of the BJP candidate for Jubilee Hills. The name of former minister Mukesh Goud’s son Vikram Goud has recently come to the fore. There are reports that the Kamalam Party is counting on the charisma of Mukesh Goud, who previously ran the wheel in Hyderabad, to join Vikram. It seems that Vikram Goud is in touch with central and state party leaders. Vikram was in the BJP until the last assembly elections.
He resigned from the party before the parliamentary elections. He is not in any party at present. With this, it seems that the key leaders are planning to bring him into the party and give him a ticket. Everyone thought that the BJP was finalizing the candidate for Jubilee Hills ( by election in jubilee hills 2025) last night itself.
For this, the party’s state president Ramchandra Rao is also in Delhi. Even last night, the high command could not finalize the name. While the names of Deepak Reddy and Keerthy Reddy were shortlisted, there are reports that the high command has favored Deepak Reddy. It seems that the BJP has also started thinking about it since the name of Congress BC candidate Naveen Yadav has already been finalized.
As part of this, there is a discussion in party circles that Vikram Goud’s name is being considered. It seems that the high command is thinking that he will be a strong Gouda community and his father’s background will suit him. Vikram Goud’s father Mukesh Goud worked as a minister during the YS regime. He has a history of turning the wheel in the Congress party in Hyderabad city.
However.. he passed away due to illness a few days ago. In this context, there is also sympathy for his family in BC circles. It is reported that Kamalam party leaders feel that this will also suit them. However.. BJP is likely to announce the name of the candidate tonight or tomorrow. (Maxim News)
