Hyderabad, February 11: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) newly-elected corporators expressed anger over the alliance of MIM with TRS in the Mayor elections.
Speaking to the media, BJP Corporators criticised that TRS deceived the people of Hyderabad citing there is no alliance with MIM in this GHMC Mayor elections. They questioned how the TRS allied with MIM in the elections now and said that TRS deceived the Hyderabadis.

It is known that MIM Corporators supported the TRS contestants Vijaya Lakshmi and Mothe Srilatha Reddy in Mayor and Deputy Mayor elections.
TRS emerged victorious in the elections. Gadwala Vijaya Lakshmi defeated BJP’s Corporator Radha Reddy.
K.Krishna Saagar Rao, Chief Spokesperson, BJP Telangana State in media statement here said that BJP stands vindicated on our accusation all through the GHMC elections campaign, that TRS and AIMIM are conjoined twins and have a secret alliance.
Cat is out of the bag:
Today with AIMIM openly supporting TRS Mayoral bid, ‘the cat is out of the bag’. They have unravelled their seven year old secret alliance publicly, as TRS was left with no option.
TRS would not have won half the seats, if it would have announced this alliance prior to GHMC elections.
Minister KT Rama Rao should apologize to the GHMC voters for his repeated statements during the campaign that TRS has neither secret arrangement with AIMIM, nor it will have a formal alliance ever. TRS & AIMIM covert manipulation and deciet now stands exposed.
With BJP in the house, GHMC now has a strong opposition voice. TRS&MIM alliance Mayor can no more take unilateral decisions and the interest of GHMC citizens will be protected.
BJP will play the role GHMC voters have mandated it, as a credible opposition.
