BJP Can End Family Rule in Telangana: Rajagopal

Hyderabad, Aug.6 (Maxim News): MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy today said the BJP has the power to end the family rule in the State.

Speaking to media persons after meeting BJP national president JP Nadda in New Delhi along with former MP Vivek Venkatswamy, Rajagopal Reddy said the TRS leaders were laying roads in his constituency anticipating by-elections.

Targeting Congress leaders, he asked the State leadership as to why it did not speak when 12 party MLAs abandoned it. Making it clear that all leaders have the freedom to shift political parties, he asked if it was wrong to join other political parties after quitting another party on moral grounds.

He said the TRS had brought the issue of the by-elections in Munugodu for the first time. He claimed that neither Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao nor his cabinet ministers would give an appointment to him to discuss public problems.

He alleged that the ruling party leaders had not allowed him to discharge his duties as an MLA and added that no protocol was followed for him in his constituency. Claiming that Gattupalli of his constituency was made into a mandal after his meeting with Union Home Minister Amit shah, he said he would have joined the TRS party if he considered his contracts and money as important.

Claiming that he received invitations from the TRS party in the past, he said he did not like the pink party. He condemned the comments of the Congress leader Addanki Dayakar against his elder brother and party MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, he said Dayakar made insulting remarks against his brother Venkat Reddy, who quit his minister’s post for a separate Telangana State.

Targeting TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy, he said the plans of the TPCC chief was to become Chief Minister by taking their help but could not be executed due to his resignation. He alleged that Revanth Reddy and his supporters were leveling baseless allegations against them and added that the Congress party had deteriorated more after the elevation of Revanth Reddy as State Congress chief.
