BJP Govt Set Nation Afire By Bringing CAA: VH

Hyderabad, Jan.9 (Maxim News): Former Rajya Sabha V. Hanumanth Rao said decision of Union government to bring in the CAA had led to a state of crisis in all the States in the country. He said the States were facing problems to implement the new Acts being brought about by the Centre. He also alleged that RSS activists had attacked JNUSA president Ashie Ghosh and filed false cases against her after attacking her.

Addressing mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan, Hanumantha Rao said those who were talking against the CAA were being labeled as traitors. He alleged that the BJP leaders were trying to turn the country into Hindusthan. He asked the BJP leaders as to why they were trying to incite communalism in the country.

Referring to the comments of BJP MP Bandi Sanjay, he asked whether it was the culture of the BJP to throw bombs and use daggers against the opponents of the CAA. He said Sanjay was talking like some fanatic Muslim leaders and recalled that the police had booked criminal cases against MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi for making similar comments. Targeting Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, he asked the Chief Minister to make a public statement on the stand of there party on the issue of the CAA. (Maxim News)
