BJP leader Tirupati Reddy Kidnapped

Hyderabad: Tirupathi Reddy, a member of the Telangana BJP state committee and a prominent real estate businessman, has been reportedly kidnapped by unidentified individuals in Alwal, Hyderabad.

His wife, Sujatha, has lodged a police complaint stating her husband’s abduction. Tirupathi Reddy, originally from Dubbakuntapalli in the Jangaon district, resides in Kushaiguda, Hyderabad with his family.

In her complaint, Sujatha mentioned that her husband was embroiled in a dispute over 5,929 yards of land. Tirupathi Reddy was allegedly kidnapped near the Alwal Tehsildar’s office at midday yesterday.

She reported that his phone became unresponsive shortly after leaving the Tehsildar’s office, which led her to suspect his rivals might be behind the abduction. Tirupathi Reddy, an active member of the BJP, is believed to be a potential candidate for the Jangaon ticket.
