BJP Leaders Accept Revanth’s Challenge To Stay With Musi Residents

Hyderabad, Nov 16 (Maxim News): Accepting the challenge thrown by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to live with the residents along the Musi River to understand their plight, BJP State unit president and Union Coal Minister G. Kishan Reddy and fellow leaders have decided to stay among the people living across the river on Saturday night in 20 areas falling under 13 Assembly constituencies.

About 20 senior leaders of the party will have food with the people and sleep in 20 habitations adjoining the Musi River on Saturday.  Along with Kishan Reddy, Party Rajya Sabha member K.Laxman, Party MPs, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Eatala Rajender,  official spokesperson N. Ramchander Rao, and senior party leaders Chada Suresh Reddy, KS Ratnam, BB Patil, Seetaram naik, Yendala Laxmi Narayana, Venkata Ramana Reddy, Gujjula Premender Reddy, and NVSS Prabhakar, among others will stay in the Musi riverbed area.

The entire exercise is intended to send a firm message to the State government against demolishing houses of the poor in the Musi rejuvenation project and also to boost the confidence levels of the people. (Maxim News)
