BJP Leaders Complain Against AIMIM MLA Over ‘Derogatory’ Word
Hyderabad: A delegation of the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders have lodged a complaint against AIMIM Malakpet legislator Ahmed Balala on Saturday at Chaderghat police station for his alleged remarks against them.
One of the leaders, Bhagwanth Rao, said that on Thursday, Balala had visited the Chaderghat police station following an alleged sexual assault on a minor girl. There the MLA reportedly spotted a delegation of BJP leaders and inquired with them about all the persons who were present there. During interaction, the MLA allegedly used a derogatory word to describe the BJP leaders.
A video clip of the MLA using the word went viral on social media, following which the BJP lodged the complaint with the Chaderghat police, demanding action against Balala for using a ‘derogatory and unparlimentary word’.
They demanded that the police register a case against the MLA under the SC/ST Act.
Meanwhile Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao also visited the Chaderghat police station and demanded that the police initiate action against the suspect who sexually assaulted a minor girl in Chaderghat three days ago.
