BJP MLC Condemns Attack On Doctors In Gandhi Hospital

Hyderabad, April 2 (Maxim News): MLC N Ramachander Rao said attack on doctors by family members of a COVID-19 patient, who died while undergoing treatment in Gandhi Hospitals.

Rao said that the people should help doctors in providing treatment to coronavirus patients instead of resorting to attacks on them. In this crucial juncture, doctors are the only ray of hope in saving our lives in the time of COVID-19 pandemic”, he maintained.

“It is highly condemnable that relatives of a deceased patient of COVID-19 were attacking the doctors and staff of the Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday on the pretext of negligence in providing treatment to him, he regretted. He asked the people, those who attended a meet at Nizamuddin markaz in New Delhi to voluntarily report at the hospitals in their areas or inform to the officials that would help in curtailing COVID-19 pandemic. He pointed that tests of several attendees of Nizamuddin markaxz meet have turn positive for COVID-19. They should also cooperate with the officials and come forward for stay in quarantine centres.

He cautioned that situation would further worsen, if the government failed to take effective measures to trace the persons, who were attended meet at Nijamuddin Markaz masjid.(Maxim News)
