University of Hyderabad Laptop Theft Case Cracked

A major theft at the University of Hyderabad has been solved within days, with police arresting three suspects and recovering all stolen laptops. The case, which was reported earlier this month, involved the theft of 60 laptops from the university premises.

The Gachibowli police acted swiftly after receiving a complaint from the university management. They registered a case and began an investigation. Meanwhile, a special crime team worked on leads to trace the accused. Acting on a tip off that the suspects were hiding in TNGOs Colony, the team conducted a targeted operation. As a result, they arrested three men identified as R Chandrasekhar, Sai Charan and Ashwin Rao.

Swift Action by Gachibowli police leads to arrests

According to police, the trio had stolen 60 laptops from the University of Hyderabad premises on February 8. The theft raised concern within the campus. However, investigators moved quickly to track the suspects. The special crime team gathered information and monitored movements. Then, based on the tip off, they located the suspects in TNGOs Colony and took them into custody.

Police recovered two cars from the accused. They also seized all 60 stolen laptops and three mobile phones from their possession. Officials confirmed that the entire stolen property has been recovered. This development has brought relief to the university authorities.

Further investigation is ongoing. Police are continuing to question the accused to gather more details about the theft. Meanwhile, authorities have not disclosed additional information about the motive or any possible links.
