Karimnagar/Hyderabad, Dec 15 (Maxim News) The Telangana BJP, which has announced many times that if it comes to power in Telangana, it will change all the names which reflect the Nizam rule such as Hyderabad to Bhagyanagar, Nizamabad to Indore, Mahabubnagar to Palamuru and now Karimnagar to Karinagar
In connection with the Public Meeting in Karimnagar district in which the National President JP Nadda is the Chief guest, Telangana BJP has given an advertisement in Telugu dailies saying, “Chaloe Karinagar” it also advertised “Chalo Karinagar” in english daily newspapers.
BJP, which has announced many times that if it comes power in Telangana, it will change all the names which reflects the Nizam rule, including in Hyderabad, it has done the same in its latest public meeting announcements
With this the Telangana BJP opened an interesting debate with the campaign announcements given in daily newspapers. “Karimnagar” is one of the politically important districts in Telangana, this is also the home district of BJP State President Bandi Sanjay. As the Telangana region was ruled by the Nizams, the names of the districts almost reflect the Muslim names. ” Karimnagar” is also a name of that category.
However, it is noteworthy that many people still do not know that BJP has strategically changed these names. The name “karinagar” may seem new to some. It is reported that the Telangana BJP has decided not to call karimnagar as “Karim” is a Muslim name. If it is called “karinagar” it is known that BJP has fixed that there is no problem as the work “Kari” means elephant.
This unexpected decision taken in party announcements of BJP has led to an interesting discussion in the political circles. It is noteworthy that in some books related to the history of Telangana, there were elephants roaming in the Karimnagar region at that time…Therefore.. because “kari” means elephant, this area was called “karinagaram. The Telangana BJP has said that this is the reason behind addressing them as “Karinagar”.
Some are recalling the remarks made by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister HYogi Adityanath on the occasion of his visit to Telangana. It is known that Yogi publicly announced on that occasion that if they are brought to power in Telangana, they will change the names of Hyderabad and karimnagar. B
JP is already fixed to change the name of Hyderabad to Bhagyanagar” if BJP comes to power in Telangana. Most of the districts in Telangana have Muslim names.
